Examinations & Grading System

Examinations must be conducted when the schedule allows. In the case of compassionate reasons, the exams officer may allow the absence of the student. In the following academic year, students may retake a course that they took previously to replace a failed or low grade course. The conventional grading system used by Nigerian tertiary institutions is known as the 5- point grading scale. They use various grades, such as first class, second class, third class, and pass. EIBCS uses the same 5-point Grading scale.

Students who wish to withdraw from the seminary must first contact the Office of academic advisors. They must then complete a petition form to request refunds. If a student would like to re-enter the program, they must first send a letter to the Office of admissions. This letter should provide a list of the student's current goals and how the seminary fits into these goals.
