The Seminary offers the following programs of study:

DURATIONS OF PROGRAMS

There are two semesters (first & second) in each academic year

1. Bachelor’s Degree Programs - two (2) Academic years

2. Master’s Degree Programs - one (1) Academic year

3. Doctoral Degree Programs - two (2) Academic years

4. Post-Doctoral Programs - one (1) Academic year

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

NOTE:

1. All applicants for admission are to be interviewed/screened by members of the Admission Committee.
2. All applicants accepted are admitted on a provisional basis into the various programs of study, until they satisfy the minimum academic, spiritual and financial requirements.

3. All new applicants seeking for admission into the Seminary’s programs must write the appropriate screening examination.
4. Application forms for admission must be purchased at the Seminary; and be filled and submitted before the date slated for entrance examination.

OTHER ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

i. Applicant for admission must have confessed Jesus Christ as Lord as Saviour.
ii. Applicant for admission must write and pass the entrance examination into the program for which he/she applied for.
iii. Applicant for admission must have a successful interview with members of the Admission Committee.

iv. Applicant for admission must have three recommendation letters or Reference Form completed by responsible Christian leaders who know the applicant very well.
v. Applicant for admission must be at least 18years of age, and exhibit mental maturity for an undergraduate program; and must be at least 21years of age and exhibit mental maturity for any post-graduate programs of study.

INTERNATIONAL/FOREIGN STUDENTS

The Seminary welcomes students from outside Nigeria. Though a foreign student may be given admission to study at the Seminary; to actually register for study, the student needs to satisfy the Nigerian Immigration authority requirements, when it comes to living in the country.
The Seminary cannot register any foreign student for study in Abuja, Nigeria, who does not have the relevant documentation. At present, there is a facility for distance/online learning offered by the Seminary.
Foreign applicants, who cannot come to Nigeria, can equally study online and obtain the same Degrees with those on campus.

HOW TO APPLY

Once you are ready to apply, follow the steps below.

i. Complete the online application form. Apply for a course of your choice. You can also apply to study our modules individually in many cases.
ii. Submit your application Form. Remember to attach any available documents we need and if applicable pay any application fee.
iii. Await our response. We acknowledge your application by email or chat (WhatsApp) within 24hours. This includes a student reference number, in case you need to contact us about your application.

iv. Register online and pay course fee. You have until the registration deadline to accept an offer and pay your initial fees. Your study materials will be sent to you as soon as you register, and lectures will begin immediately.
v. Your application will be followed up with an informal chat (WhatsApp) or telephone to discuss your suitability for the Degree.

SEMINARY FEES AND OTHER CHARGES

We understand that Seminary can be a financial burden for many people. At EIBCS, we do our best to make sure we have competitive pricing with other institutions, and we offer affordable Theological and Christian Education for all our students at an affordable price.

Our fees are as follows:

1. Bachelor’s Degree
Fee = N90,000 ($205)
2. Master’s Degree
Fee = N100,000 ($230)
3. Doctoral Degree
Fee = N150,000 ($340)
4. Post-Doctoral Research
Fee = N250,000 ($565)

REFUND POLICY

Students who withdraw from school and drop out of course are entitled to a refund. A 100% refund will be given to the student during the registration period, and the first week of classes, while the refunds will not be issued after the first week. To apply for a refund, students must contact their program coordinator.

REGISTRATION

All new students must complete the registration process before they can start their studies at the seminary. Doing so will allow them to get their registration number.

ORIENTATION

An orientation course is conducted to help new students get used to and settle in to their new environment. It usually takes place in the first couple of weeks of the new semester.
This course features lectures that are organized around specific topics, such as examinations malpractice and homosexuality. Aside from these, students are also exposed to the Seminary's rules and regulations.

MATRICULATION

Those who have satisfied the educational requirements of the EIBCs are admitted as students. They are then inducted into the seminary through a ceremony conducted Seminary Management team. The Dean of Academics presents the new students with the oaths during the ceremony. Afterwards, they are required to sign the register. This ceremony takes place of the Registration as orientation exercises.
